Review -Book Ballad of Bapu by Santosh Bakaya Maám

It all began at RS, where poets together meet,
one such honour is interacting with the Maestro Santosh Bakaya
her rhymes and tales woo everyone minds,
I feel lucky to marvel at this talent that is one of a kind.

Even better reverence is reading Ballad of Bapu, her acclaimed book,
a journey of Mahatma all under one roof.
She expresses the chronological ballet with verses each of five,
A history retold unfolded alive.

A man who stood for masses; words speak about,
some moments long forgotten or unknown, verbs spell out.
A vision that pays ode to the Father of the Nation,
who bought a revolution with Satyagraha and fight against racial discrimination.

I am just wondering
that this mystical poetic saga penned by Santosh Maám is so powerful
and is enriching; charming both old and the youth,
holding everyone's attention with her ink that soothes,
may be even The dhoti clad man must be smiling from above,
reaching out for his spectacles to read the book himself now!!!
