Friendship and More

He packed his bag,
Turning once to see his empty room
His unslept eyes moistened to her favourite chair
which she always sat in to chatter with him in the evenings
He could see her angelic smile he adored beam golden
And feel the energies that  sparked between them everytime they met.
Locking those memories,  he  walked up to the porch
Waiting for his dearest to come
His love stood on the threshold of his years friendship
An answer that would alter their equation forever
He knew it, realised it that he couldn't hide this anymore
He had  to tell her how much she meant for him,
That he loved her as his beloved more than being best friends
He walked up to her to say those beautiful words
With a hope that his Life would bestow him with this blessing
For an positive response  that would have her in his arms forever
And Fear that would make him walk far away from her  with his bagful of her memories.
