Showers of joy

The skies were tired to bear
the humid torture of the sun
Sulked to watch the dust again
covering the soiled space for fun
The greens had hidden themselves
Booking a holiday trip for all
Even the fishes voted to go
And return after fall
Sure, this was not expected
And something had to be done
So, the favourite Rain God decided to visit
Earlier to surprise everyone
Bringing showers of blessings and joy in our midst
He cheerfully tweaked the rules of  our Nature’s list.
